HP ENVY 13

This portable HP computer with please the users with the possibility of watching HD-video in any definition and any format, to play in up-to-date games. But for all that one should not be afraid that the battery will run out of charge. The HP ENVY has a powerful lithium-ion battery polymeric accumulator (with 6 segments), which provides the operating time of about 7 hours. And – what is more surprising – there is a possibility to prolong the time of running for 18 hours thanks to the installation of optional slice battery (which is, by the way, included in the kit).

The body of HP ENVY 13 has soft lines and curved metal edges. The designers used only high-quality materials in the HP ENVY: the body is made of polished aluminium. The lid’s surface is smooth and dull – the best covering for work as it makes the fingerprints and stains invisible. There is a small disadvantage though – the display is made of glossy glass, so it won’t be possible to hide the prints.



The strong HP ENVY weighs hardly more than one and a half kilograms with the thickness of only 2 centimetres.

The device has the super bright 13-inch liquid crystal LED display HP BrightView Infinity, which has LED-illumination and is also protected by an integral glass. The glass panel protects the screen from any damages. The brand new super slim HP ENVY has a definition of 1366 х 768 pixels, and the sides correlation of 16:9. The glossy screen will not be perfect for running because of glares and reflexions, though it won’t affect brightness in any way. The high-quality video card provides ultra-rich colors and makes the movies watching unforgettable.

The keyboard is very beautiful and pleasant to touch. The keys are made of a lightweight and dull plastic. It is a pleasure to work with the divided keys: they are kept away from each other and lifted over a surface. The HP ENVY laptop’s layout is very handy: the keys are big enough, with a good course and provide easy work. So one won’t have to get used to the keyboard after using the one on a PC.



Now let’s have a look at the touchpad with the multi touch technology. It has an unusual design: there are no control keys in it – they are sensory. The touchpad is easy to control though sometimes it doesn’t perceive the touch. In the left touchpad’s corner there is a special key to switch the sensory mouse on/off. Due to the designers’ intention to miniaturize the laptop and reduce its weight the keyboard lacks some keys.

So, HP ENVY 13 really knows how to surprise the customers. It has an endless list of advantages (Windows 7 pre-installed OS, for example) though still isn’t perfect. Anyway, the HP ENVY is a new achievement of the HP Company and we are dying to find out more about it.
