What is interesting – in comparison with Apple’s Mac OS, Linux seems to be real jungle, which one should get used to somehow in order not to be eaten or bitten. Though it is changing now – for example, the Ubuntu distribution kit, created for the most easy change from Windows on Linux. However, Linux’s customization is not simple at all, therefore there is no point in comparing it to Mac OS.

The new Apple MacBook Pro 13 has the latest version of Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard is installed. This operating system has a very nice interface and, besides, is very handy. One needs a couple of days to get used to it, but, trust me, it is really worth it. There is a special panel with a number of system settings, which makes the Apple MacBook Pro 13 running simple and comfy.

The suite will be perfect for the undemanding user as it satisfies his main requirements: there are resources for surfing and mail, image-viewing and music listening. Do you really need more? An extra Internet-service (from an iLife series) will enable photo- and video-editing, creating new music or even web-pages. The iWork office package provides work with documents, tables and presentations, but only for a test period of 30 days – then you’ll have to buy it. All applications are really stylish and elegant. They are very simple in running – but only after one gets used to them. We must say that program running is fast thanks to the high-quality hard-disk.

By the way, software installation in Mac OS is super simple – a dream for those, who value their time. All you need is to download the program put it in the “Program” folder of Your Apple MacBook Pro 13 – that is it, installation is completed :)



Well, the Apple team really appreciates their customers and does its best to simplify the user’s life. However, the program deinstallation doesn’t always pass so smoothly: there is a probability that the program either will not be uninstalled completely, or program parts will be left. Preinstalled software is big enough, but still not perfect for solution of a wide range of tasks. So one will have to install some extra programs. Nevertheless, after you’ve bought the macbook, you can start to work straight away: to go on the Internet, to download and listen to music, to type and print the simple text.



So, Apple MacBook Pro 13 is a new proof of the company designers’ talent as it combines sophisticated forms with simplicity and can be perfect for either home use or running it in the office.
