The new HP Compaq Presario CQ61 is designed in a classical design and can be claimed a typical Hewlett-Packard notebook. The Presario Series was created at the moment of junction of two companies: HP and Compaq.

The notebook is designed in classical HP style: the black plastic body and glossy covering. On the lid there is an Imprint sign symbolizing that it’s a Compaq laptop. The lid opens so that it covers the back side of a notebook. That is why there are no ports and plugs at the back bottom.

As we have already mentioned, all the plugs are allocated on the sides of HP Compaq Presario CQ61 as the back side of the notebook is hidden by the lid. The set of ports is standard: HDMI, USB 2.0, VGA etc. The HP Compaq Presario CQ61 has a built-in Card-Reader. As to wireless communications, the HP Compaq Presario CQ61 notebook has controller Atheros SL-5354MP, which provides Wi-Fi connection. But the laptop has a small disadvantage – no Bluetooth in the model. But the notebook has a 1.3-Mpx Web-cam, which is good enough for an average laptop.

The notebook has the full-size keyboard, including the panel. The keyboard is very comfy and good for typing.

Inside of the laptop is a lithium-ionic battery. The accumulator provides the user with at least 3 hours of running time. The notebook heats moderately.
